MASTER VOCAL WORKSHOPS

Our LIEDER ALIVE! founding program was the Vocal Master Workshop series, which brought outstanding master artists together with highly accomplished emerging and established professional singers for intensive training and performance. Master Workshops were presented by baritone Thomas Hampson (2008), mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne (2009), soprano June Anderson (2011), followed by the distinguished Swedish baritone Håkan Hagegård, who collaborated with pianist John Parr in a public master class at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in September 2012.
