Lieder Alive is partnering with VA centers in the San Francisco Bay Area to launch Finding Voice and Vision: Empowering Veterans through Music, Writing, and Film. This innovative three-month workshop offers bi-weekly online sessions led by artists and clinicians, guiding veterans in creating music, writing, and film in response to prompts centered on PTSD and mental health. The program culminates in a public exhibition featuring original works and video documentation of the creative process. By blending artistic expression with therapeutic support, the project offers a transformative path to healing and empowerment. It also aims to raise public awareness and foster community engagement around the critical role we all play in supporting veterans’ mental well-being.

This activity is supported in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency (learn more at arts.ca.gov), the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Overwatch Alliance.
