LIEDER ALIVE! founder and director Maxine Bernstein offers coaching and consulting services for professional and aspiring singers and instrumentalists on a year-round basis.

A devoted advocate for opera, lieder and all branches of classical music, Ms. Bernstein has lived, performed and taught in New York, London, Paris, Vienna and now San Francisco. At her Imperial Avenue Music Studio, she offers professional and aspiring singers and instrumentalists a uniquely supportive and flexible coaching style, integrating her extensive knowledge of vocal training and repertoire with her mentoring and life-coaching experience. The soprano’s international musical education culminated in her studies with Christa Ludwig.
